Thoughts from Dannye
Dannye has been studying spiritual psychology for well nearly forty years. She has a strong intuition and is able to see the "big picture" easily, all of which contribute to her counseling skills and her writing skills, both nonfiction and fiction.
In 2016 she published a short eBook called The Book of Metanoia, which had fifty-six words of wisdom for helping facilitate one's life journey. She has now expanded that publication to twice its original size.
Recently, Dannye was invited to participate in The Heroine's Journey Project. You can view her interview here.

Thoughts from John
John studied metapsychology for 40+ years through seminary and personal study. He was a strong believer in the importance of seeing beyond the physical to appreciate the meaning of the sacred writings that have been offered to us through centuries by others who have also been seeking Divine Guidance.
Update: John passed away May 22, 2020.

• Do you think deeply enough to understand that earth is a school and experiences are meant to show you how well you are doing?
• Have you noticed that what you wanted so much in the beginning failed to give you the good feeling you expected when you got it? This is the way your greater potential prods you to keep on desiring.
• You were created to learn how to be in a perfect place with the perfect people to help you grow into the perfect creative person you are meant to be. If you’re in a mess, you just need to start learning from your mistakes.
• Life is sneaky. It makes you believe that you can think your way into happiness. Truth is – without knowing how you feel, your thoughts can lead you into a pile of trouble.
• There are no accidents. You attract experiences. Life is all about you being aware of the thoughts and feelings that attracted the experiences and how you are going to respond.
• People often hate in others what they don't want to admit is a battle going on within themselves.
• You had a bad experience. So what? Stop whining! Your bad experiences offer you greater potential for growth than your good ones. They can also shake you loose from your mechanical thinking, which only maintains business as usual.
• So, you think your life is all about solving problems, right? Wrong! It’s about becoming aware of the stupid emotions and thinking that attracted the problems to you in the first place.
• Painful experiences are a wake- up call. You wouldn’t be experiencing pain if there wasn’t something for you to learn. So, your job is to try and figure out what that is!
• All emotions thrive from being used. So what becomes important is whether your emotional expressions are a result of habit (an unthinking response) or a well thought-out choice. Only through conscious awareness can you decide what emotions you want to influence your life experiences.
• You are given the possibility of a perfect life at birth. However, it has to be earned by getting rid of the craziness that you borrow as you grow up from those around you. Is this path easy? Just try it and find out. Some people say this is the path of least resistance. Let me know what you think…
• All that happens to a person in life has a definite purpose. If you’re feeling pain, the experience has something to offer you in terms of your spiritual growth. If you’re happy, you’re experiencing the fruits of your psychological labors.
• The pain in your life has a special purpose. It is meant to be a shock to wake you up to the power you have to make choices between what helps or what hurts. So get rid of the blame game. Pain is meant to be a wake up call. Wake you up to what? Wake you up to the power you have to make choices.
• Lack of commitment is wishful thinking. It takes commitment to manifest your desires, commitment to stay the course, to meet the challenges of change, to overturn the status quo. Without commitment, your dreams will always stay just that – dreams.
• Most people like to be liked so they talk out of both sides of their mouth to please others. Is it any wonder why we don’t trust first impressions of other people?
• Anger has to be fed. Every time you let the feeling called Anger be in charge, guess who’s getting fed? And guess what your first reaction will be the next time someone says something you don’t like. The stronger it gets, the more often you’re going to react in anger.
• If you know that what you think creates your life experiences and you find out that you think the same things over and over, why would you expect your experiences to be anything but the same thing over and over? Change does not come from robotic thinking.
• The world is full of people who believe that their good is found by blaming other people for their mistakes. The truth is that actually taking the blame is the energetic and emotional mind slap that breaks up mental and emotional patterns that leads to a greater personal experience.
