Note from Dannye Williamsen:
It is not the accepted practice in the industry to stray from a single genre. I might be able to excuse this path I’ve taken by saying that I am an Aries and easily bored. I prefer, however, to say that I go where my muse takes me. My muse has been more focused when it comes to nonfiction which has been dedicated to spiritual psychology or personal growth over the last four decades. In my fiction writings, six of my novels have had a paranormal twist which dealt with the abilities of the mind (perhaps influenced by my nonfiction passion?). Recently I listened to a woman talking about one’s “branding promise." That’s when I realized that mine, which has always been Opening Minds and Imaginations, actually validates my broad approach to writing. If any of my works can open someone’s mind to different ideas or open their imagination to new worlds, then I have kept my promise. |

Invisible Shadows
Allegra Harris has never really thought about marriage until she meets Harper Frost during a land deal negotiation. Allegra is a top-notch negotiator and is justifiably proud of having reached the position of Senior Vice-President of Security Land Investments. Harper’s deal falls through, so she is startled when Harper keeps asking her out even though she has no time for relationships. Harper turns out to be as career-focused as she, and the two of them fall into an easy rhythm. Having felt alone most of her life, Allegra doesn’t recognize the superficiality of their marriage. She feels content because neither makes demands on the other’s time.
That is, until Allegra discovers she is pregnant. For the first time, she experiences a love that actively competes for the attention she’s always reserved for her work. Chloe’s birth shines a new light on hers and Harper’s lives and creates a shift in their marriage, but she still believes she loves Harper. Still, the loss of her nest egg to shore up his business lingers in the back of her mind as her need to protect her daughter’s future grows. Everything moves along routinely until the day she receives a phone call from the NTSB. It seems Harper is presumed dead in a plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean while on a flight to Nassau. With no body found, Allegra’s life is turned upside down. Trying to handle his affairs, she discovers she did not know her husband at all. The more she tries to tie up loose ends, the more stray threads she discovers. Threads that lead to more questions: Did Harper Frost ever really exist? Is he still alive? Is he dangerous? |

The Elyrian EmergenceElyria is the only country on the planet of Galen which is located in the Andromeda Galaxy. Galen meaning calm and Elyria meaning blessed place demonstrate the principles upon which this civilization was founded many centuries ago. Escaping from their ancient planet before it imploded as the result of their destructive policies, the mission of the Founders, those who orchestrated the means of escape, was to develop a civilization based on the philosophy of Self-Emergence.
On the surface, it seems to be working until the Karons, the sensitives who monitor the global energies, detect a negative shift in consciousness. The Karons’ visions wake those in charge from their complacency and send them scrambling to curb the decline engineered by someone with an inordinate amount of power. The questions this team of people find themselves asking are these: Can we stop this before it’s too late? How could we have not seen how vulnerable we are? The ultimate question is whether Elyria will wake up and realize that Self-Emergence is a forever journey, one where fear of the mistakes of the ancient planet have no place. |
